Family
The things worth remembering
I’m not interested in making your family look perfect.
I’m interested in noticing you.
The way your child reaches for your hand. The look you give each other when nobody else is paying attention. The ridiculous laughter. The quiet moments. The little quirks and gestures that make this person this person, and this family yours.
Because these are the things we think we'll always remember.
And then, somehow, time passes.
The children grow. The family changes. Someone gets taller, someone gets older, and the ordinary days we thought we'd never forget become memories.
That's why I photograph families.
Not just to give you beautiful photographs, but to preserve something of what it felt like to be you, together, right now.
The photographs are made in a moment.
Their meaning continues.
Just a heads up - I will make you cuddle in and get your cheeks together.
Just sayin.
